Judith Glue established her business in 1976 originally making her own leatherwork and then her collection of Orkney Knitwear which is still made today. She expanded with her shop in Inverness nine years ago and then the Real Food Cafe situated at the back of her original shop in Orkney eight years ago along with building an online purchasing website. Judith and her husband David bought The Store originally known as "Leonards Store" in 2011 and after a considerable hands on renovation project they opened it as The Storehouse Restaurant with Rooms in 2018, yet adding another branch to their ever expanding business .
Every resident who comes to stay at The Storehouse receives a special Discount shopping card offering 15% off gifts & clothing throughout Judith and Davids flagship store " Judith Glue " situated opposite St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall and also her shop in Inverness.

Situated opposite St Magnus Cathedral on Kirkwalls Broad Street is a blue fronted shop established by Judith in 1976 it is truly an Aladdin’s Cave of interesting gifts, jewellery, accessories and clothing, many sourced locally, along with an Orkney Knitwear Collection designed by Judith and exclusively made in Orkney for her by her dedicated team of knitters and finishers. The Real Food Cafe is situated in the back of Judiths shop where you can enjoy local Orkney food such as Westray Crab, Herring, Salmon and hot specials of the day all cooked in an open kitchen. The Cafe is also licenced and children are very welcome, so you can enjoy a glass of Orkney Beer, local Gin or a good glass of wine. During the summer months the shop and Cafe are both open later in the evenings so you can enjoy a meal or take your time to shop after a busy day touring around the sights.

Opened in 2011, Judiths Inverness shop is located on Bridge Street near the River Ness in Inverness and is run by Laura her dedicated manager . Specializing in quality arts and crafts from Orkney and the Highlands of Scotland with Judith’s own Orkney knitwear collection along with Annie Judiths daughter knitwear there are also selected clothing collections such as Seasalt, Nomad, Brakeburn, Weird Fish, Mistral, Masia and ethical brands such as Thought and Skunkfunk. There is also a unique range of gifts and jewellery many sourced throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. This is a uniquely independent shop that is very popular with visitors and many Inverness locals.
